A new report from eMarketer has revealed that people are now spending more time on their mobile devices than watching TV.

While the report revealed that the number one thing people do on their mobiles is listen to audio, time spent on Social Networks came in at number 2.

According to eMarketer, “The average US adult will spend, per day, 3 hours and 43 minutes on mobile devices in 2019, just above the 3 hours and 35 minutes spent on TV.

In 2018, time spent on mobile was 3 hours and 35 minutes, with time spent on TV at 3 hours and 44 minutes.”

For any business to thrive, it needs to be in front of their target audience. And that target audience is no longer on TV, they are on social networking platforms via mobile.
